Liver Research Club (LIREC) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that reunites people interested in the inteformată din persoane interesate de cercetare interdisciplinară în domeniul hepatologie din Cluj-Napoca.

We would have liked to say that we are as old as the Big Bang, but our history is really recent and our atom was born 3 years ago (but we have to say that are related to the primordial particles of the Big Bang). What is particular about this atom is that it has two nuclei, our enthusiast coordinators, Dr Horia Stefanescu and Dr Bogdan Procopet that provide high positive energy levels through protons and stability through neutrons. Orbiting around them, there are numerous electrons that are held together by the two nuclei. A short story about the life of the electrons: they are recruited to the atom through a complex grant writing training, namely GRAIL. As they advance their writing and research skills, they tend to advance on the orbitals, and take charge of departments of their own. The process is dynamic, as in an electron dance, and every electron is welcome to test if they can resist the electromagnetic forces of LiReC.

We are not a lonely atom and we obey the laws of chemistry to make covalent bonds with research teams in foreign countries. This way, we only get stronger and are able to create new chemical elements in the form of multicentric studies.

Our ANatomic lesson is yet to be written and we invite you to become part of the expansion of our club!
